Understanding your rights and responsibilities when using PDF Micro Suite

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PDF Micro Suite ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the application.

2. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PDF Micro Suite on your Mac for personal or business purposes. You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Rent, lease, or lend the application to third parties
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
  • Use the application in any illegal or unauthorized manner

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

Important: This section applies to PDF Micro Suite Pro subscriptions and one-time purchases.

3.1 Subscription Options

PDF Micro Suite Pro is available as:

  • Monthly Subscription: $4.99 per month
  • Yearly Subscription: $29.99 per year
  • Lifetime Purchase: $59.99 one-time payment

3.2 Payment and Billing

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. All payments are processed through the Apple App Store.

3.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly) automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

3.4 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase. To cancel, open the Settings app on your device, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select PDF Micro Suite, and tap Cancel Subscription.

3.5 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3.6 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

PDF Micro Suite and all associated intellectual property, including but not limited to software, design, logos, and documentation, are owned by QBeat Singapore. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. Your documents and files remain your exclusive property.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your device and any API keys you configure
  • Ensuring you have the legal right to process documents through the application
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
  • Not using the application to create illegal content or infringe upon third-party rights
  • Backing up your important documents

6. Third-Party Services

PDF Micro Suite offers optional AI features that integrate with third-party providers. When using these features:

  • You are responsible for providing valid API credentials
  • You are responsible for any fees charged by those providers
  • You must review and accept their terms of service and privacy policies
  • Document content may be transmitted to your chosen AI provider

We are not responsible for third-party service interruptions, data handling practices, or any issues arising from your use of third-party services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

PDF Micro Suite is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The application will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The application will meet your specific requirements
  • The results obtained from using the application will be accurate or reliable

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QBeat Singapore and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your use or inability to use the application
  • Any errors or omissions in the application
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your documents
  • Any third-party conduct or content

9. Updates and Modifications

We may update, modify, or discontinue the application or any features at any time without prior notice. Updates may be applied automatically through the App Store. Continued use of the application after updates constitutes acceptance of any changes.

10. Termination

Your license to use the application is effective until terminated. Your rights under these terms will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any provision. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the application and delete all copies.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and QBeat Singapore regarding your use of PDF Micro Suite and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to revise these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the application after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
